Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect your email address if you give it to us. We do not track you, we do not use analytics, we do not run ads, and we never sell or share your information. The rows you generate are built on your own machine and are never sent to us.

What we collect

If you join the launch list

Your email address and the date you signed up. That is the whole record. We use it for one thing, which is to email you when As of Now opens. We will not use it for anything else without asking you first.

If you create an account

Your email address and a password. Passwords are handled by our login provider and stored scrambled, so we never see yours.

Models you save

If you save a model, we store the setup you built: the model name, your table and field names, and the settings and values you typed in, such as the list of options you gave a category. We do not store the rows generated from it. Only your own account can read your saved models. Anything you type into a model is saved along with it.Do not put real personal information in your models.

Collected automatically by our host

Standard server logs, which include IP addresses, kept for security and reliability. We do not use them to build a profile of you.

What we do not collect

No analytics. No tracking pixels. No advertising networks. No third party scripts of any kind.

The rows you generate stay in your browser. As of Now builds them on your own machine, and a download saves straight from there, so the generated data itself is never sent to us and never stored by us. Saving a model is different, and we explain that above.

Cookies

One cookie, and only during the private beta. It remembers your access code so you are not asked for it on every page. It is not used for tracking. Because that is the only cookie we set, you will not see a cookie banner here.

Who else can see your information

Two companies help us run the service, and both are bound to protect what they handle for us. Vercel hosts the website. Supabase stores accounts and saved models.

Nobody else. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information.

How long we keep it

Launch list emails are kept until we launch and tell you about it, or until you ask us to remove you, whichever comes first. Account details and saved models are kept for as long as your account exists. Delete your account and they go with it.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email privacy@asofnow.io and we will take care of it. If you are on the launch list, asking to be taken off is enough, and every email we send will include an unsubscribe link.

If you are in the UK or the EU, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant and we have your email address, we will tell you about it.
